You are experiencing interference from your car radio when your monitor is switched on. In some cases, the monitor may emit non-essential radiation that can interfere with FM radio reception, when receiving “weak” transmitters (in rural areas far from transmitters). You can alleviate the problem by fitting this ferrite. Its purpose is to considerably reduce a wave emitted by the cable and transmitted to the harness.
